I am writing to you, hoping for your sensibility and I'll appreciate if you give me some help.
In this Deviant Art community my palestinian friends cannot select the place they live from the countries list off the settings menu.
In fact a palestinian state doesn't actually exist, so they have to select "unspecified".
Like them, I think that the people that live in Gaza strip or in West Bank have a strong identity and one day they will join the Palestine as a state.
But, for the moment I'd like the dA administrators to add the wording "Palestinian territories" in the countries list, so the palestinian artists can define the place where they live coming out from this "un-named" land.
To do this you should send an email to the dA administrators easily copying the following subject and the text.
You can also spread to your dA friendlist and publish this mail in your dA journal.

Hi!
My name is Tali and I found you through the ~Anti-Nazi group.
As it's 27/1 soon, which is the national memorial day for the holocaust, I thought of suggesting deviations that are related to the topic as Daily Deviations, and ask them to be on that date.
I want this day to be felt in DA as a memorial day for the holocuast, not as another day. And also, a DD usually gets +2000 views, that means +2000 more people who will be more aware of the topic.
So how are you related to all that?
Well I'm looking for quality deviations in any category of active members that are related to the topic. I searched "holocaust" and started to go over the search results but I'm afraid that I will need some help here. When I will find those deviations, I'll suggest them as a DD and I hope that they'll be published.
So if you know of some deviations like that, or if can help me find those, I'll greatly appriciated that.

Sure you've heard of them. They're trying to get into Australia for a gig in Melbourne, but they're having trouble with the visas. I'll let you know if it goes ahead, meanwhile probably an idea to let the right people know.

Australia's off, the visas fell through. Theyre looking at the UK. I'm talking to other Revolution members right now, see if we can't throw em a welcome party.

ps. I thinks one of the class clowns is a nazi! He discriminated the Mexicans, Native Americans, and actually laughed when he heard of their slaughter after SUGGESTING it! Plus he only stands up for the people with paler skin, not to be rude though, many of my friends have paler skin....but HE prides on it...
What should I do? Can I knock some sense into that idiot's head? He doesn't even know that "alien" doesn't necessarily mean little green men...

So ya good job yelling at an enemy that inevitability won because you are still afraid of it. Do you honestly think that people didn't suffer from the hate of Nazis? Do you really think that any kind of hate at all is innocent? Its too easy for people to mistake Germans from Nazis, I know that you probably know the difference but most WON'T. Discrimination comes in all forms, no matter who you are.
This isn't a sympathy request, just an explanation. My great uncle was NOT a Nazi, he was a history scholar at WSU, and he was German. People were very scared of Germany at the time, and when they noticed that my uncle was German, they must of panicked. So the FBI game to his house went in and destroyed everything inside, and did so every week because they thought he was a Nazi spy. His picture and name was put into the front page of the Spokesman review, and he was arrested under NO charges. He thus lost his job, so did most of my family at the time, and my uncle became almost destitute, lost his house and was unable to get another job, and had to be taken care of by the rest of my family who were dealing with it in smaller amounts, he was too famous and hated by people afraid of Nazis even though he wasn't one. But worst of all, some of my family had to change there last names so they could live normally. Some of the pictures you put up only scare me, it add a fire to the taint that some German people were faced with, and are still faced with when in smaller, not so understanding communities.
